Bathroom care
Grout collects soap residue, moisture, and everyday dirt. Consistent gentle cleaning is safer for tiles and easier than harsh, infrequent scrubbing.
1. Check the tile and grout first
Identify whether your tiles are ceramic, porcelain, or natural stone. Natural stone may need specialist-safe products, so always check product labels first.
2. Apply a suitable grout cleaner
Use a cleaner appropriate for your surface and allow it to sit for the time shown on the label. Good ventilation is important in bathrooms.
3. Use a soft grout brush
Gently work along the grout lines with a soft brush. Avoid metal tools and aggressive scrubbing, which can damage grout or surrounding tile.
4. Rinse and dry the area
Wipe away residue with clean water and dry the tiles afterwards. Reducing leftover moisture helps slow future buildup.
Never mix cleaning products. If mould keeps returning or grout is badly damaged, seek professional advice.
